According to ChainCatcher, CryptoRank data shows that among the top 15 blockchains in terms of decentralized exchange transaction volume in 2024, Ethereum ranked first with US$674 billion, a year-on-year increase of 46.3%.
Solana followed closely behind with a trading volume of $626 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1,049%. BNB Chain ranked third with $352 billion, a year-on-year increase of 178%.
Arbitrum and Base ranked fourth and fifth with $252 billion and $222 billion, respectively, up 101% and 5.8% year-on-year.
Blast ranked sixth with $133 billion. Polygon and Avalanche were $49.8 billion and $46.8 billion, respectively, with growth rates of -3.9% and 105%.
Sui and Optimism performed strongly, with trading volumes of $41.2 billion and $33.8 billion, respectively, up 1,859% and 69.6% year-on-year.
