According to Foresight News, Vitalik Buterin donated 10 million Thai baht (about 290,000 US dollars) to the Khao Khai Zoo in Thailand. The donation will be used to support the zoo’s wildlife conservation programs and upgrade the pygmy hippopotamus exhibit.
The donation will be paid in two installments of 5 million baht each. The first installment will be on December 26, 2024, and the second installment will be made within the next year.
