According to Odaily Planet Daily, data from the Russian State Statistics Service showed that as of the week of December 23, Russia's CPI rose by 0.33%, and the inflation rate this year has reached 9.5%.

Earlier, the Russian Central Bank unexpectedly decided to keep its key interest rate unchanged at 21%, saying the move would help bring inflation down to its target of 4%.

Andrei Gangan, head of the Russian Central Bank's monetary policy department, said full-year inflation will be between 9.6% and 9.8%.
