According to a report by PANews, OpenAI's official announcement states that ChatGPT now supports interactions with users via phone. US users can dial the dedicated number 1-800-CHAT-GPT, supporting landlines and old mobile phones.
This feature is also integrated with WhatsApp, allowing users to send information inquiries through this number, similar to the existing web and mobile versions. US users can use 15 minutes of voice calls for free each month.
OpenAI stated that to gain a more comprehensive experience and more features, existing users should continue using ChatGPT through their accounts. Specific rules and limitations may be adjusted.
