According to BlockBeats, Spanish cryptocurrency service provider BitBase is set to expand its operations into Argentina by 2025, with plans to deploy its first cryptocurrency ATMs in the country. The company has allocated $524,000 for the procurement of equipment and the expansion of its local business operations. BitBase has already established a presence in the Recoleta district of Buenos Aires and has formed partnerships with local organizations, including Bitcoin Argentina, to facilitate this expansion.

In addition to BitBase's plans, the Argentine Securities Commission (CNV) has recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with El Salvador's digital asset regulatory body. This agreement aims to promote the development and adoption of cryptocurrencies within Argentina. Currently, BitBase operates 135 cryptocurrency ATMs across Spain, maintains 24 physical stores, and serves over 35,000 active users. The company's expansion into Argentina is part of a broader strategy to increase its footprint in the Latin American market, leveraging its existing infrastructure and partnerships to support the growing demand for cryptocurrency services in the region.
