According to BlockBeats, Spanish cryptocurrency service provider BitBase plans to deploy the first batch of cryptocurrency ATMs in Argentina in 2025 and has invested US$524,000 in equipment procurement and local business expansion.
BitBase has established a presence in the Recoleta district of Buenos Aires and has partnered with local institutions such as Bitcoin Argentina. The Argentine Securities Commission (CNV) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the El Salvador Digital Assets Regulator.
BitBase currently operates 135 cryptocurrency ATMs in Spain, has 24 physical stores and over 35,000 active users.
