According to Odaily Planet Daily, U.S. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce mentioned "Operation Chokepoint 2.0" in an interview with Fox Business and put forward three suggestions to improve the cryptocurrency industry.
First, she suggested stopping the government's regulatory chokepoint activities, especially the methods that prevent cryptocurrencies from obtaining necessary services. Second, clarify what matters are not within the jurisdiction of the SEC and what are not securities.
Finally, she stressed the need to work with cryptocurrency entities to clarify the applicability of existing rules and make necessary adjustments. This requires a collective exercise with public participation in order to quickly find a good start.
