According to Foresight News, Saga, a modular blockchain platform, has issued a statement regarding a security incident involving the SG-1 account. The platform confirmed that the account keys for SG-1 (@sg1_online) were compromised. However, they assured users that no funds were affected and the network remains secure.
In response to the breach, Saga has launched a new SG-1 validator node to maintain the integrity of its operations. The foundation has also taken steps to unbond 16 million Saga tokens from the compromised SG-1 account. Users who had previously delegated their tokens to the old SG-1 node are advised to re-delegate to ensure their assets are managed securely.
Saga's swift action in addressing the key leak highlights its commitment to maintaining a secure blockchain environment. The platform's proactive measures aim to reassure users of the network's resilience and the safety of their assets. By launching a new validator node and unbonding tokens from the compromised account, Saga demonstrates its dedication to transparency and security in the blockchain space.
