Ripple highlighted the correlation between the rise in cryptocurrency markets and an increase in fraudulent activities. The company stated, "The surge in the cryptocurrency market means a rise in scams. We remind you that Ripple will never ask you to send XRP. Neither Brad, David, Monica, Stu, nor anyone else from Ripple will make such a request. Please remain vigilant."
