According to Odaily Planet Daily, the South Korean Martial Law Command announced that martial law will be implemented from 23:00 on December 3, 2024.
1. Ban the activities of the National Assembly, local councils, political parties and all political gatherings.
2. Prohibit fake news and false incitement.
3. Speech and publication are controlled by the Martial Law Command.
4. Strikes, slowdowns and other behaviors are prohibited.
5. Medical personnel must return to their posts within 48 hours, otherwise they will be punished.
6. Minimize inconveniences in the daily lives of ordinary citizens.
Violators may be arrested without a warrant and punished under Articles 9 and 14 of the Martial Law Act.
