MAP Protocol, the Bitcoin L2 cross-chain protocol, announced that it has integrated TRON. This integration will provide TRON with advanced cross-chain messaging capabilities, while providing TRON users and developers with decentralized cross-chain interaction options, further enhancing cross-chain interoperability.

MAP Protocol is a Bitcoin layer 2 cross-chain network based on ZK technology. Through peer-to-peer interoperability, it integrates Bitcoin L2 with other blockchains into a decentralized Bitcoin ecosystem and Web3 gateway.

It is worth mentioning that this integration will use MAP Protocol’s ZK and light client technology to achieve multi-chain interconnection between the BTC ecosystem, EVM and TRON ecosystem, especially to promote multi-chain liquidity of USDT. David Uhryniak, head of TRON ecosystem development, said that this marks a key step forward in the seamless interoperability of blockchains, and he expects it to have a positive impact on users and developers.

As an important global payment network and blockchain infrastructure, TRON is committed to improving the interoperability and practicality of blockchain technology. In February this year, TRON officially launched the Bitcoin second-layer solution and roadmap, aiming to closely link various tokens within the TRON network with the Bitcoin network in a decentralized manner through various combinations. Previously, TRON has reached a strategic partnership with Bitcoin second-layer solution Merlin Chain.

With the new mission of building the Metaverse Financial Free Port, as the Bitcoin Layer 2 solution and roadmap are gradually advanced, TRON will bring greater imagination space to the entire blockchain industry.
