According to TechFlow, US media Politico reported that US officials said Iran may be reconsidering whether to launch a multi-pronged attack on Israel.

The Biden administration has worked through diplomatic channels in recent days, sending a message to Tehran through various mediums that if the explosion that killed Haniyeh did not kill any Iranian citizens, then Iran should reassess its plans to launch a military attack on Israel.

U.S. officials said they did expect some kind of Iranian response to Haniyeh’s killing, but Tehran appeared to have adjusted its stance and the United States did not expect an Iranian attack on Israel to be imminent.
