According to TechFlow, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin shared the latest progress of Ethereum block construction research as of August 7. Vitalik said that it is generally recognized in the industry that it is a good idea for multiple participants to contribute to transactions that must be included in the block.
However, there is still public debate about whether it is possible to avoid the "last mover" problem. Vitalik believes that the block construction topic is approaching a breakthrough.
