Recently, the DogeDesigner account spread on the X platform news that Elon Musk's company is taking another step in setting up internal payments on X (formerly Twitter). DogeDesigner is a member of the Dogecoin team and also often shares insights into what's going on in the X application team.

The Dogecoin community has reacted with excitement, predicting this new X Payments feature could launch later this year.

Another license for X Payments

User DogeDesigner revealed that X has a money transmitter license in the state of North Dakota. With this new one, he emphasized, X now has licenses in 35 states and only 15 states left to roll out the X Payments feature. This is expected to be implemented by the end of this year.

This account has also spread that X will make monthly payments to content creators on the platform. Features that allow content creators to earn income were introduced by Elon Musk after he acquired Twitter for $44 billion in October 2022 and then changed its name to X the following year.
