PANews reported on August 2 that crypto venture capital fund CoinFund announced that it has led a $2.25 million seed round for Raad Labs. Raad Labs is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) project incubated by Montauk Climate, dedicated to improving the management and collection of climate data through distributed personalized weather stations and other atmospheric sensors. The project uses crypto incentives to encourage individuals to invest in and self-deploy weather stations to improve the accuracy of weather models and provide new data for climate risk management and emissions quantification.
