According to ChainCatcher, digital asset infrastructure Roma announced that it has obtained a virtual asset service provider license from Dubai VARA, which enables Roma to provide regulated virtual asset broker-dealer services and provide customers with digital asset deposits, withdrawals, brokerage and over-the-counter trading services.
It is reported that Roma was founded by Amit Jain, former managing director of Sequoia Capital, and focuses on bridging the gap between legal assets and digital assets for global institutions. In 2022, it received a seed round of financing of US$22 million, led by Sequoia Capital India.
