ChainCatcher reported that according to DL News, the US State Department offered a $10 million reward for the location information of North Korean hacker Rim Jong Hyok. He had conspired to hack and extort hospitals, clean the ransom proceeds, and use them to fund computer intrusions into defense, technology, and government entities around the world. Court documents show that Rim Jong Hyok and his accomplices worked for the North Korean Reconnaissance General Bureau and were known as "Andariel," "Onyx Sleet," and "APT45" in the private sector.
