The Consensys team introduced #MetaMask Snaps, a platform that allows third-party developers to customize the MetaMask wallet.
Using the platform, any team can create and deploy their own add-ons to MetaMask, even when working with assets on blockchains that do not use the #Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
At launch, 34 plugins are already available, through which MetaMask supports Bitcoin, StarkNet, Solana, Aptos, Cosmos, Tezos and a bunch of other networks.
