The performance of Solana public chain this year can be said to be remarkable. It has been rising from around US$12 at the beginning of the year to a maximum of US$75, a six-fold increase, which can be said to have surpassed the king of public chains, ETH. The recent airdrop launched by Jito, an ecological project on Solana, has pushed the Solana ecosystem to a new height.

On December 5, Jito Labs, a Solana ecosystem infrastructure project, introduced the airdrop qualifications and distribution rules for its token airdrop. Of the 100 million JTOs (10% of the total supply), 15% will be allocated to Jito-Solana validators; 5% to Jito MEV searchers; and 80% to JitoSOL users (who hold at least 100 points before November 25, 2023). The minimum for a single account is about 5,000, and the current price on BN is maintained at more than $3, which means that the income of a single account exceeds $15,000, breaking the single account record of this year's ARB airdrop.

Such high returns have also attracted the army of Ethereum swindlers to Solana ecosystem, with 98,000 new wallet addresses added in a single day. Solana ecosystem has become another hot spot after the previous inscription craze. Jiaoyang plans to launch a series recently to specifically study the ecological projects on Solana.

The following table lists some of the more well-known projects in the Solana ecosystem that have not yet issued tokens. They involve multiple fields such as DEFI, cross-chain, infrastructure, and NFT. Today we will select MarginFi for an interactive demonstration.

Do the preliminary preparations, first install a sol wallet plug-in, currently the mainstream is the phantom wallet, and you can also interact with phantom. Then prepare a few SOLs for interaction and gas, generally not less than two SOLs. After you are ready, click the portal www.mfi.gg/refer/16bac7c2-c9cf-4303-996e-02a36ed64fd7 to enter and start interaction.

1. Click sign in in the upper right corner to connect to the phantom wallet.

2. On the lend page, we can see the SOL balance of our wallet, then enter the amount we want to lend, click supply, and wait for the wallet signature.

Here you can see the lending amount, which indicates that the loan was successful.

3. Click borrow, enter the amount you want to borrow, click borrow, sign and borrow mSOL successfully.

4. Click lend, and you can see that mSOL is replaced by repay. Enter the corresponding amount to repay mSOL.

5. You can see your personal account information above. Try to keep it in a green and healthy state.

6.MarginFi also has swap and cross-chain functions, which are simple operations and you can learn about them yourself.

7. On the points page, you can see your current points status.

The above are the steps of MarginFi. The borrowed mSOL can be borrowed in the Kamino project, and we will continue to demonstrate it in the next issue. I hope everyone can benefit from the Solana ecosystem.
