According to data from the Arkham intelligence platform, 32,371 Bitcoins were transferred to an unnamed address at approximately 04:46 AM UTC.
The stock was initially valued at $2.47 billion, but a roughly 1% drop in Bitcoin's price over the past 24 hours has seen its value decline slightly.
Trustee Mt.Gox transferred Bitcoin to trading platforms participating in the creditor distribution plan, which includes large entities and companies such as Kraken and Bitstamp.
On July 16, Kraken informed affected parties that it had received $3.1 billion worth of Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) from custodian Mt.Gox, and that it would begin the distribution process within seven to 14 days.
On July 23, Mt.Gox creditors confirmed that Kraken had begun distributions as promised.
To date, Mt.Gox's custodian has moved more than $657 million worth of Bitcoin to addresses linked to Bitstamp, of which $156 million was transferred yesterday.
Arkham reported that $335 million of the funds transferred this morning will be distributed to Bitstamp addresses.
