The first exchange to open to retail investors in Hong Kong
HashKey Exchange, an exchange under Hash Group, became the first to obtain the upgrade of license No. 1 (Securities Trading) and No. 7 (Providing Automated Trading Services), allowing it to operate a virtual asset trading platform and provide services to retail investors. After this license upgrade, HashKey Exchange became the first licensed trading platform in Hong Kong for retail users, which will further expand the business scope of HashKey Exchange from professional investors to retail investors. In addition, HashKey has also officially launched the cryptocurrency over-the-counter (OTC) service HashKey Brokerage, which is somewhat similar to our common securities dealers. In the future, after the Securities and Futures Commission adopts a new cryptocurrency regulatory framework, the OTC trading platform will comply with Hong Kong's local securities laws. At present, HashKey Exchange has officially opened pre-registration.
