CBOE announces official launch date for ether spot ETFs

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the launch of such funds on May 23, but before listing, companies had to agree with the regulator to register the fund on Form S-1.

It seems that five companies managed to do this on time, and on July 23, the 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF, Fidelity Ethereum Fund, Invesco Galaxy Ethereum ETF, VanEck Ethereum ETF and Franklin Ethereum ETF will become available for trading.

To attract more funds at the start, almost all companies announced a reduction or complete elimination of fees for fund management in the first days after listing. ETH-ETFs are expected to raise billions of dollars in the first months.
