Immediate action: The company has reported the incident to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), and contacted more than 500 exchanges to block the identified addresses. Many exchanges are cooperating, and WazirX is also actively working with them to provide more resources to assist in the recovery efforts. The action plan includes tracking stolen funds, recovering customer assets, and conducting a deeper analysis of the cyber attack. WazirX is working with forensic experts and law enforcement agencies to identify and arrest the criminals.
