In the incident, the threat message mentioned placing a pipe bomb in a mailbox and was signed 'MAGA'. Jeffries stated that law enforcement responded quickly and found no devices, and the members and their families were safe.
Democratic members from Connecticut, such as Jim Himes, Rosa DeLauro, and Jahana Hayes, stated that they were targeted and posted the threats they received on social media.
