Software development giant Oracle has again sued crypto startup Crypto Oracle LLC and its owners, accusing them of trademark violations and ignoring previous legal agreements, Cointelegraph reported.

Oracle filed the lawsuit in California federal court on November 25, alleging that Crypto Oracle and Louis Kerner have reinstated infringement of Oracle’s trademark rights and materially breached the settlement agreement.

In 2019, Oracle sued Crypto Oracle for using Oracle's trademarks to market cryptocurrency-related services. The two parties reached a confidential settlement in 2020, and the court prohibited Crypto Oracle from using the related name.

Oracle now alleges that Crypto Oracle has violated the settlement agreement and the court injunction by continuing to use the “CryptoOracle” brand, launching new businesses, and hosting events under the “CryptoOracle Collective” name.

Oracle seeks injunctive relief, monetary damages, statutory penalties, attorneys' fees, and the transfer or removal of the infringing domain names and branding.
