According to Blockworks, the governance token of the crypto index fund Indexed Finance was attacked, and a hacker tried to steal the remaining $90,000 of its DAO through a proposal. An observer discovered the malicious proposal and demanded a share of the attacker's profits so as not to expose the attacker. However, the attacker declined the request, and the observer subsequently notified former Indexed contributor Laurence Day. Day informed his 30,000 followers on social media platform Indexed Finance is a crypto index fund founded in 2020. Its activity has basically stagnated since a flash loan attack in 2021 caused the DAO to lose $15.8 million.
