According to BlockBeats, on November 12, Justin Drake, a core researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, announced the Beam Chain proposal at Devcon.
Drake said Beam Chain will improve Ethereum block generation, staking and cryptographic consensus, maintain high security and improve performance.
Beam Chain will not change the Ethereum roadmap, but will bundle the upcoming changes. It is expected that the specification will be developed in 2025, and the code will be written, tested, and the mainnet will be considered for deployment in 2026.
