According to TechFlow, the political action committee (PAC) Protect Progress has invested more than $1.3 million to support Democratic candidate Yassamin Ansari in her campaign for the Arizona Third District Congressional seat. Ansari supports blockchain and encryption innovation and has completed Coinbase's Stand With Crypto questionnaire, indicating that she will support pro-encryption legislation if elected.

Protect Progress' website shows that the Super PAC supports Democratic candidates who are committed to making the United States home to the next generation of Internet innovators, specifically mentioning blockchain technology. The group is also linked to Fairshake PAC, which has funded attack ads against Democratic candidates in California and New York.

In addition, Protect Progress also invested about $3.7 million in the congressional elections in Texas and Alabama in April this year to support Democratic candidates. In this election, the presidential candidates of major parties expressed their views on cryptocurrencies for the first time, which may affect the voting tendency of single-issue voters.
