According to the Daily Planet, Bitcoin non-profit organization Btrust acquired Qala, an organization dedicated to training African Bitcoin and Lightning Network engineers. The transaction was completed on September 1, and Qala was renamed Btrust Builders Programme. Two years ago, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and American rapper Jay-Z co-founded Btrust. As a donation fund dedicated to funding Bitcoin development programs, Btrust focuses on teams in Africa and India, with an initial capital of approximately 500 Bitcoins.
