Crypto and digital asset funds received a net investment of $1.44 billion last week. Total net investment since the beginning of the year reached 17.8 billion dollars. The total of 2021, the last bull season, was 10.6 billion dollars. The net investment of $72 million in Ether funds also showed the largest amount since March.

Investors have taken advantage of buying opportunities in cryptocurrencies, where prices have dropped recently. After the previous week, high inflows into crypto funds last week also attracted attention. According to CoinShares' weekly report, there was a net inflow of $1.44 billion into crypto funds last week. This figure was also the 5th highest in history on a weekly basis.

The 2021 bull is long gone

On the other hand, the fact that the total figure was 10.6 billion in the 2021 bull season, which is one of the important breaking periods in terms of the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the world, clearly showed the size of the investments seen in the current year. Of course, the Bitcoin spot ETFs accepted in the USA had a great impact on the level seen this year, which collected $17.8 billion in net investments.

While $1.35 billion entered Bitcoin funds on a weekly basis, this figure, like the total investment, was the 5th largest inflow in history.

High exit from Short Bitcoin

There was also a net outflow of $8.6 million from "short-Bitcoin" funds that invested in Bitcoin's decline. This figure was the biggest outflow seen in these funds since April.

Ethereum expectation brought $72 million

While experts expect Ether spot ETFs to open for trading in the US this week, this brought $72 million in net investment in Ether funds last week. Apart from Ether, many altcoin funds also completed the week in plus. Solana funds received net investments of $4.4 million, Litecoin funds $1.2 million, XRP funds $1 million and Cardano funds $700 thousand.

While funds in the USA again outperformed other countries with a net investment of $1.2 billion, crypto funds in Switzerland came in second place with $57 million.

While BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF closed the week with a net investment of $ 522 million, this figure was $ 358 million for the Fidelity fund.
