Stablecoin commodity exchanger Tether has announced its schedule for ending USDT and EURT support on many blockchain networks. Starting September 2025, Omni will no longer have to accept redemptions of USDT or EURT on Kusama, SLP, EOS and Algorand. Tether stated that this decision is part of its efforts to allocate resources to where they can “best enhance security and efficiency while supporting continuous innovation across the crypto landscape.” 🚀 Additionally, Tether will freeze all remaining USDT and EURT on these networks on the same date and offers users to get their assets back “as soon as possible.” Tether stated that the USDT stablecoin is the leader in the stablecoin market worth $112.3 billion, with a 69% share.
