Crypto exchange Bitget reported an influx of capital of $700 million and an increase in website traffic in the second quarter of 2024. 📈
- Traffic increased by 50% compared to the previous quarter, attracting 10 million visitors per month.
- New users increased by 2.9 million, and spot trading volume increased by 10%.
- Increase in funds: BTC by 73%, USDT and ETH by 80% and 153% respectively, which is approximately $700 million.
Bitget has also partnered with three Turkish athletes and launched a $20 million ecosystem fund in collaboration with Foresight Ventures.
Bitget's reserve report shows a ratio of over 100% for all major assets, with a protective fund valued at over $420 million.
During the quarter, the company also partnered with KYC verification provider Sumsub to combat deep fake scammers.
On June 27, Bitget researchers highlighted that losses from deep fake attacks in the crypto space could reach $25 billion in 2024.
