As of today, Mt.Gox developments are on the agenda in the cryptocurrency industry. With the start of Mt.Gox payments, it was observed that the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins made sudden withdrawals.
Mt.Gox, which also published an official statement about Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) payments, included the following information in its latest post:
âOn July 5, 2024, the Remediation Authority made refunds in Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to certain recovery creditors through designated cryptocurrency exchanges, in line with the Remediation Plan.
Repayments to other improvement creditors will be made immediately, provided the following conditions are met:
Verifying the validity of registered accounts and other matters
Acceptance of intent to participate in the Agency Receipt Agreement by designated cryptocurrency exchanges
Completion of negotiations regarding refunds between the Recovery Authority and designated cryptocurrency exchanges
Verifying that refunds can be made safely and securely.
