Huge buyback volume from BlackRock 🤑 Money will return to crypto?
US-based BlackRock, one of the world's largest asset managers, announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire British financial data provider Preqin for $3.2 billion.
In a written statement released by #BlackRock, it was stated that British financial data provider Preqin has accepted BlackRock's $3.2 billion cash purchase offer. BlackRock aims to strengthen its Aladdin software division by bringing together data, research and investment processing for fund managers through acquisitions. The $3.2 billion acquisition is expected to be completed this year, once the necessary permits are in place.
Notably, BlackRock bought Preqin, beating offers from Bloomberg, the London Stock Exchange and S&P Global.
