SEC recently targeted crypto companies and projects again.
Recently, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a lawsuit against Consensys, the developer company of Metamask. In line with this case, the SEC stated that the staking service offered to users by Lido (LDO) and Rocket Pool (RPL) brought these assets into the category of securities.
There were sudden declines in LDO and RPL, which are altcoins listed on Binance. While RPL experienced a 3% decline, LDO lost more than 10% in value in the futures market within minutes.
