According to TechFlow, at the Decipher 2024 conference in Barcelona, the Algorand Foundation announced the launch of a new tool, LiquidAuth. It is reported that the Algorand Foundation positioned it as a decentralized WalletConnect. As a decentralized, free-to-use, open-source, and chain-independent authentication tool, LiquidAuth uses established standards and protocols to authenticate peer-to-peer communications between wallets and applications (apps or dApps), aiming to address the communication risks of centralized wallets such as WalletConnect and provide greater security and privacy for user interactions. In addition, LiquidAuth also reduces reliance on third parties when logging in easily via email or social accounts.

It is reported that as the annual conference of the Algorand ecosystem, Decipher 2024 was held in Barcelona from June 26 to 27, building an efficient communication platform for developers of the Algorand ecosystem to explore the future trends of the Algorand ecosystem.
