According to Odaily Planet Daily, a British court ordered the seizure of approximately $4.3 million worth of Bitcoin from crime lord Alexander Surin, also known as Don Car-Leone. Surin failed to prove that the crypto assets were legally acquired.
The decision follows an investigation into the financial dealings of Surin, who fled to Dubai in 2015 following his conviction for drug trafficking in France and whose considerable wealth had previously been confiscated, which were linked to his criminal activities.
