According to TechFlow, on January 8, Doha Bank launched Visa Commercial Payments (VCP) in Qatar, becoming the first bank in the region to launch this service. The move aims to simplify corporate payment processes and improve security.
VCP helps corporate clients improve cash flow, eliminate manual processes and provide a seamless payment experience by automating reconciliation and delivering virtual card payment details.
The deputy chief executive of Doha Bank said the partnership would consolidate its long-term relationship with Visa, and Visa executives also stressed the importance of this partnership to digital innovation in the financial industry.
