According to Cointelegraph, Avi Eisenberg, who was convicted of the Mango Markets decentralized exchange vulnerability, will be sentenced on April 10. Judge Arun Subramanian of the Southern District Court of New York postponed the sentencing originally scheduled for December 12 to April 10 at the request of his lawyer.

Eisenberg stole more than $100 million by hacking Mango Markets through a vulnerability in October 2022. He returned about $67 million but kept more than $40 million. U.S. authorities arrested him in December 2022, and he has been in custody for about two years.

If convicted of the maximum sentence, Eisenberg could face up to 20 years in prison. In addition, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission could take civil enforcement actions against him after the criminal case is concluded.
