According to a #Reuters report on January 31, Ripple's #XRP token faced a more than 5% decline amid speculation of a network breach leading to the disappearance of $112.5 million worth of tokens, as per CoinDesk. Blockchain analyst ZachXBT alleged on social media platform X that a wallet lost 213 million XRP tokens, which were then funneled through exchanges like Binance, Kraken and OKX. Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen clarified that the unauthorized access occurred in his personal accounts and that law enforcement had been notified. Despite Reuters' request for comment, Ripple has not responded.
