The world’s largest asset manager has today updated the list of Authorized Participants (APs) for its spot Bitcoin ETF called “IBIT”.
The new additions include Citigroup Global Markets, UBS Securities, ABN AMRO Clearing USA LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co. and Citadel Securities LLC.
Authorized Participants (APs) play a very significant role in the creation and redemption of ETF shares, facilitate the process by transferring cash to and from the Trust Administrator through one or more accounts.
