My personal journey with SIDUS began when I joined an engaging AMA session, featuring Roman Povolotski and Mando CT, about a month ago. Roman is the General Producer of the entire SIDUS Metaverse and has been involved in game development for around 20 years. His titles have attracted millions of users and received recognition from industry giants like Intel. During the AMA, he explained the concept behind the metaverse, the development plan and unveiled some details about an exclusive partnership with a luxury brand that’s capable of reshaping the GameFi industry.
GameFi Challenges
As crypto gaming is still in its infancy, there are significant challenges that SIDUS strives to address:
Cryptocurrencies and #DeFi applications have become attractive targets for scammers, resulting in the loss of billions of dollars due to wallet fraud.Some gaming projects reveal themselves as concealed extortion, cunningly designed to siphon users' hard-earned money.Many projects within the coin market initially experience rapid growth and success, only to crumble in value over time.Most games lack meaningful player interaction and possess limited Player-versus-Player (PvP) capabilities.They often depend on outdated software and hardware, leading to steep #gaming expenses. New Approach to GameFi
SIDUS combines the concepts of Play-to-Earn, NFT and Free-to-Play, providing its community with seamless access to and undisputed ownership of their in-game assets. Within the SIDUS Metaverse, every item holds real value, with most of them taking the form of NFTs - special tokens representing digital ownership. Any user can withdraw these assets to an external wallet and sell them on the secondary market, effectively turning in-game items into real-world profits.

The cross-platform approach ensures that SIDUS games are accessible to everyone. For instance, you can enjoy Xenna on both a mobile and a desktop or launch Nidum on either Mac or Windows - the range of compatible devices is extensive!

However, the SIDUS team has gone even further in their quest to provide users with genuine value. The Module Economy is a unique in-house development that enables users to co-own the metaverse through gameplay. Users can contribute the resources they've earned in battles to the development of modules - in-game services such as the Store or the Marketplace - and earn a fee from all future transactions within a specific module.

In the future, users will be able to convert their share into an NFT and sell it on the secondary market. So, you don't need to be an investor to own a digital business - just play in the SIDUS Metaverse! Initially available on Nidum Station, the Module Economy is about to be launched in two more games - Tembazar and Xenna, with the Store and the Marketplace being the first two features available.

Maintaining high demand for all titles is no simple task and SIDUS addresses this challenge with unique resources on every planet (or game). To progress steadily within the metaverse, you'll need various resources and the only way to obtain them is to play all the games, ensuring a high number of daily active users for each title.

Initially, the SIDUS Metaverse featured only one NFT collection, with 6,000 original generative characters. However, nowadays, every title has its own collection featuring unique and valuable items, ranging from hero cards for Nidum and land plots on Xenna to body components for Tembazar.
