ENS is the naming system for the Ethereum blockchain, adding human-readable names to various resources, including crypto wallets and websites. Until now, the project’s root node has been managed by members of the Ethereum community.
ENS founder Nick Johnson expressed support for the ownership change. He wrote on Twitter:
