What is Shentu (CTK)?
Shentu is a delegated proof-of-stake blockchain network focused on security in decentralized environments. The platform is designed to support the safe deployment and execution of various applications, such as decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and systems related to autonomous technologies. Shentu offers native compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Hyperledger Burrow, eWASM, and AntChain.
The Shentu network is aimed at enhancing trust and reducing the risks in smart contracts and blockchain operations. To achieve this, it provides a suite of tools focused on real-time risk assessment and protection. One such tool is the Security Oracle, a decentralized system that assigns real-time security scores to smart contracts. These scores are generated by independent operators and are designed to help developers and users evaluate the safety of on-chain applications.
Another component of the Shentu ecosystem is ShentuShield, a decentralized protection system that enables reimbursement for crypto assets lost due to hacks, contract failures, or other security incidents. Blockchain projects that meet specific security criteria may become eligible for coverage, allowing their communities to access this form of protection. Within the system, users may either act as Shield Purchasers, contributing a fee to obtain coverage, or as Collateral Providers, who stake tokens to support the pool and receive rewards in return.
To further strengthen security in smart contracts, Shentu supports DeepSEA, a programming language designed for high-assurance applications. Developed with backing from organizations such as the Ethereum Foundation and IBM, DeepSEA integrates directly with the Shentu Virtual Machine (SVM). The SVM extends standard EVM functionality, making it possible to factor risk directly into contract logic.
The Shentu ecosystem is powered by $CTK, the network’s native utility token. $CTK is used to pay for transaction fees and smart contract execution on the Shentu chain. It also supports the governance process, enabling token holders to stake their assets and participate in decision-making regarding various governance matters.
$CTK also plays a central role in ShentuShield and the Security Oracle. Within ShentuShield, users can either stake $CTK as collateral to earn rewards or pay fees in $CTK to gain access to coverage. In the case of the Security Oracle, operators who perform contract assessments and generate security scores are compensated in $CTK for their contributions.
The circulating supply of $CTK is 148.39M with a total supply of 148.39M tokens. $CTK token is listed on Binance for trade and purchase. The current price of $CTK is available and updated in real-time on Binance.
