I just had an accident and a sprain ankle and wrist, but what would happen if something happens to me? To you?

We need to teach our family, our possible heirs, how to get back our crypto, right?

Apart from what to do, if it is an #AltCoinSeason or not, to sell or to hold crypto...

What would we have done at this moment?

All what I have in Binance, there is no problem, like my bank accounts, they will have access to it as heirs. In Spain at least, this it depends on regulatory laws in your country, please check it.

But what happens with my hard and cold wallets?

As now they donÂŽt know anything about crypto, I said them just this chibi summary:

  • They should download an APP

  • They include a "password"

  • They can send the crypto to Binance and change it into euros.

  • They can send euros to my bank.

Of course, they will need more details, but like that they now can see the whole picture, the basic information.

What would they need then?

  • The name of the APP, where to download it for sure and not a fake one. Trust Wallet. Even we have crypto in Ledger, Trezor, Metamask etc, we can put all hot and cold wallets in Trust Wallet). I made a tutorial but sometimes the app interface is changed, but you know, maybe the basic tips would be cool.

  • The password are seed phrase, 12-24 randome words. So I have to tell them where I have them and if I made some code, I have to tell them. Be careful if you say all details now, maybe some "family" can drain your wallets or make a mistake.

  • A tutorial how to send crypto to Binance. Be careful with network, address, fees etc.

  • How to CONVERT crypto into euros. That is easy. Or they should consider other options, to send it to their own account by binance pay, put in EARN and keep HOLDING. Maybe some crypto are staked so they need to unstake it (I have some WBETH), etc...

  • In case they need or want to send it, then how to send it from Binance to a bank account (2FA, authentification on mobile and mail). Give them those details.

  • And also some other details about what to do with NFTs.

Chibi suggestions: I think we should make a summary every month of what we would have done if something happens to us, analyize some market trends, like if now it is an #AltCoinSeason or not, if it can be a good moment to sell or not.

My advice for my heirs, in general: "just HOLD my crypto, DYOR, learn a bit about what is happening in market, see bottom price and ATH (highest price) and after some months, then decide if you want to keep holding or selling some of my crypto."

By now, what IÂŽm doing: just holding for years my #BTC ($ETH and $BNB for sure) but for some other Alt Coins, I would wait for sure some months after $BTC halving, maybe autumn 2024. Then maybe I think I will sell those Alt Coins I have like dust, that I donÂŽt want them.

Or if not 2024 or 2025 then wait some months after next halvings (end of 2028, 2032...)

Something else? What do you think? What do you tell now and then to your heirs? Please comment and share your thoughts!
