Stablecoin issuer Tether has paved the way for the addition of 1 billion USDT on the Tron blockchain. As of October 20, and according to the Whale Alert monitoring, this significant move was made just seven hours prior.
Tether's Chief Technology Officer, Paolo Ardoino, was quick to clarify that the transaction is authorized, however, it remains unissued at this time. This means this extra issuance will be held in reserve for the inventory of the subsequent issuance request and chain exchange. This proactive step reflects Tether's readiness in anticipation of future issuance requests, ensuring a swift response and seamless operations.
