According to Foresight News, Singapore-based financial institution DCS Card Centre (DCS) is set to deploy and issue payment tokens called DUS on the PlatON network. The DUS tokens will be pegged to the US dollar and tokenized from credit card transactions processed by DCS. These tokens can only be redeemed for card spending limits by returning them to DCS.

In addition, DCS will collaborate with PlatON to explore the Web3 financial services ecosystem based on blockchain, privacy-preserving computation, and AI technologies. This partnership aims to promote innovation and development in the field of blockchain-based payment clearing. DCS will also become the first financial institution to sign up for TOPOS, a crypto payment clearing operating system based on the PlatON platform.
