How Binance Builds Products For Its Users
Main Takeaways
User feedback plays a vital role in shaping our products, services, and the future of our ecosystem.Â
We launched a Feature Request & Feedback Board that allows Binance users to submit ideas to our team.Â
At Binance, we continue to prioritize our user-driven focus and will keep working with our community to build products that solve our usersâ problems.
Get an inside look at our user-focused approach to product development and highlights from our newly-launched Feature Request & Feedback Board.Â
Product development at Binance follows five key principles: simplicity, trust, transparency, innovation, and, most importantly â community.Â
Great products provide value to the user. Thatâs what separates a good or mediocre product from a great one. Our products could be intuitive and groundbreaking, but theyâre ultimately pointless if they donât solve problems for our users.Â
With that in mind, we launched a direct line of communication in February that allows any Binance user to submit ideas to our team: the Feature Request & Feedback Board. More recently, we introduced a Public Feedback Roadmap that provides status updates of user-submitted ideas.Â
Feature Request & Feedback Board: Key Figures
Our Feature Request & Feedback Board is an ongoing project to create additional channels for Binance users to share meaningful product feedback. Hereâs a quick by-the-numbers recap of how itâs performed:Â
Weâve received over 4000 suggestions from the community using the new tool.Â
Among those suggestions, weâve published 73 ideas for the public to vote and comment on.
The top-voted feature received 90 votes and is now in the pipeline.Â
On April 19, we updated the board to display submitted requests and replies from the product team on whatâs being built.Â
As a company grows in size, itâs common for teams to build products simply to provide more features or follow the âroadmap.â This is not the case at Binance. We welcome feedback in our product development process because happy users are the best metric of success.Â
Of course, itâs easy for companies to preach a user-focused approach. Thatâs why weâd like to share a few highlights of top-voted product ideas weâve released or are working on as a direct result of community feedback.Â
Highlights From Our Feature Request & Feedback BoardÂ
Below is a selection of product ideas suggested by users. If you have a Binance account, you can visit our feedback board anytime to leave suggestions, vote on ideas, or comment on ideas other users have submitted. If you want to see all the other user-inspired ideas weâve built, are building, or planning to build, check out our Public Feedback Roadmap.
Popular ideas go through three stages: Planned, In Progress, and Released. If we cannot build a requested feature, weâll always reply with an explanation.Â
1. Write options (covered or uncovered): Planned
2. End of Candle execution: Planned
3. View Simple Earn history: Released
4. Earn redeem glitch: Released
