We’re excited to announce the latest additions to the Binance app search bar. Previously, our users could only search for Spot or Futures pairs on the app. While this was satisfactory for experienced retail investors, today’s crypto journey is bigger than price tickers. 

For one, the Binance ecosystem has grown immensely since 2017, with major additions like Binance NFT coming each year. Moreover, crypto’s growing mainstream popularity has brought millions of new users to our platform. Some of these users, for instance, are more interested in NFTs or blockchain gaming, while others may be beginners looking for helpful resources. 

As Web3 ecosystems are constantly upgraded to deliver a better experience — so is the Binance app search engine. Here are the major improvements we made:

• An expanded search engine that supplies more relevant results

• Robust filters that allow users to dig deeper into their search results

• Trending search results for trading pairs, Binance features, and account settings.

Delivering Relevant Search Results

The crypto community’s interests go far beyond trading, and our new search engine reflects this variety. Now, when users search for a keyword, our search engine will automatically filter and display a large selection of relevant results. This includes Binance products, NFT listings, and even FAQs, among many others. Users can also narrow down their results by choosing from our suggested filters that automatically appear as the user types.

A New Way to Discover What’s Trending

Users who have recently used our search may have noticed three new categories: Top Search, Hot Functions, and Self Service. These categories rank the most popular search queries based on what users trade, search, or click on.

• Top Search includes the most popular transaction pairs and is ranked based on real-time search data and user trading behavior. 

• Hot Functions displays each day’s most clicked and searched Binance features.

• Self-Service links users to the most asked-about account settings, for example, activating two-factor authentication (2FA) or resetting your password.
