Weekly Market Recap

This week we saw the total crypto market cap increase around 0.05%, from ~$2.16T on Sep 10, 2021 to ~$2.17T at the time of writing. 

Bitcoin (BTC) traded at ~$46,942 on Sep 10, 2021, before it bounced off a weekly low of ~44k on Sep 13, 2021.  It currently trades at ~$47,949 as of writing. 

During the same period, Ethereum bounced off a weekly low of ~$3,138 on Sep 13, 2021. At the time of writing, Ethereum trades at ~$3,553.

2. Welcome Our New Director of Audit and Investigations

Binance has officially onboarded Nils Anderson-Röed as our new director of Audit and Investigations. The ex-Europol Dark Web specialist will conduct and lead internal and external investigations to identify and combat malicious actors across all of Binance’s platforms—ensuring a safe and secure crypto ecosystem for all.
